Peat cork, or paper-pot, is a cellulose cylinder filled with substrate to root.
It provides the plant with the optimal air-water conditions for the development of the root system. During potting, the substrate does not sink and the root ball is not damaged. This avoids transplanting stress on the plant, which results in shorter rooting times and higher quality seedlings.
